Italy – The Second Workshop
The second workshop of the Erasmus+ project, “Think outside the box, think outside the trash, let's recycle,” took place in Pagani, Italy, where young people from three high schools in Poland, France, and Italy gathered for a five-day immersion in eco-focused activities, debates, and intercultural evenings. This time together allowed students to exchange ecological practices used in their respective countries, strengthening friendships and enhancing foreign language skills.
The first day began with participants sharing updates on activities completed during the initial workshop phase, as well as discussing recycling practices used in partner schools across Poland, Italy, and France. Following this exchange, students joined a creative workshop to make decorations from recycled newspapers and paper.
The second day included a field trip to the town of Amalfi, where students visited a local museum and attended a paper-making workshop. Additional activities throughout the week included a treasure hunt around Pagani to discover the town, a tour of a factory specializing in cardboard furniture production, and recycling activities held at the school. These enriching experiences fostered collaboration and environmental awareness, making this workshop an inspiring step in their shared ecological journey.
