an educational support and a platform for solidarity and civic actions
The recycling centre manages a collection, recovery, resale, and environmental education centre in a given territory. On a daily basis, it prioritises waste reduction, reuse, and then recycling, by raising awareness among the public about adopting environmentally friendly behaviours. It is a player and tool for ecology in urban spaces.
Objectives:
- Engage our students in an eco-responsible approach
- Promote an inclusive participatory dynamic
- Strengthen collective commitment
- Encourage a change in perspective on waste by showing that it constitutes a resource.
The four functions of the recycling centre:
- Collect "waste"
- Recover waste
- Resell reusable items at low prices
- Raise awareness among the public about eco-citizen gestures for waste reduction (consumption choices, object maintenance, second-life products, prices, etc.)
